How to use the paragraph counter

How long should a paragraph be?
For web content, 40–80 words (two to four sentences) per paragraph is easy to read on a phone. Academic writing uses longer paragraphs, often 100–200 words, each built around one main idea. Paragraphs over 150 words are flagged in red so you can consider splitting them.
